Small Business Website Makeovers

If your current website isn't benefiting your business, maybe it's time for a makeover or a website update. The websites shown here were both makeovers and custom design as we discarded everything from the clients' previous sites and started from scratch. When we salvage design work and/or text from an existing site, we call that a "refresh" or update and you'll find examples of those and more on our website portfolio page, too.

The Scottsdale Treatment website was a challenging project with a worthwhile goal: sharing information about treatment for drug and alcohol addiction. The Scottsdale Treatment team is motivated to improving the lives of their clients, and they wanted a website that reflected their dedication. They had been unhappy with their previous site because it looked like a woman's spa—complete with animated falling leaves and music. The site did not depict the serious work done by this team of professionals, and it had never been optimized for Google searches so people who needed treatment couldn't find this site online. Their new website not only conveys the professionalism and non-judgmental attitude of the Scottsdale Treatment group, but the website shows up in search results. It's number one or among the top six positions on page one of Google for common search terms such as: outpatient alcohol treatment az; opioid drug addiction treatment arizona; court mandated dui az. "John is absolutely thrilled with the Website. He asked me to thank you and hopes you will continue to work with us because you know how to do all the things we have wanted to do for such a long time. He is so impressed with the content and the way the site works. It's easy for prospective clients to move from page to page within the site and to find valuable resources on our links page. The phones are ringing!"

Precision Utility Locating had a website that was created by Dex. They were paying $100 a month (yes, a month!) for a three-page website that had no search engine optimization. It was built on a template and included options that led potential customers away from this site to search for competitors: a web search option at the top and a Dex Directory link at the bottom. Neither of these customer-bleeding options was explained to or approved by the company paying for this website. The owners of this business also received no information about the need to optimize their website or how to develop any off-site search engine marketing.

The old Dex site didn't show up in Google searches so provided no new customers. The new website has five pages and each was written to promote this company's services to site visitors as well as being optimized for top placement in Google. Our completely redesigned Precision Utility Locating website began showing up number one on page one of Google within a few weeks for common search terms, such as: utility locating prescott az; utility locating training az; certified utility locating az. "I have been checking to see where we are on Google, and I get excited each time, because we are all over the Internet... I am so glad you have helped us on this! We even had a call from Hawaii. We can't thank you enough. You have been a blessing in our lives."
